Catios designed, built, and installed all over Ireland

How pricing is calculated

Materials are the main cost involved in building your Catio.

Your Catio will be constructed using:
  • 3x2 inch pressure treated pine for long lasting durability
  • Twin skin polycarbonate roof sheeting for its strength and ability to withstand the Irish climate, providing a waterproof Catio roof
  • Galvanised 16 gauge steel mesh
  • Treated pine shelves or resting spots
  • Treated pine Sleepers, if required
  • Concrete pavers, if requested
  • Dulux Weathershield Paint, if requested
The labour component is made up as follows:
  • Initial discussions regarding your outdoor space, your cats needs, and the design of your Catio, including the number of shelves/resting spots, extras like ramps, rope bridges, etc

  • Building of your Catio

  • Transporting and installing your Catio at your premises
Cost

To calculate an approximate cost of your Catio, determine the  size of all the Catio walls in square meters, including the roof (obviously excluding your house wall, if the Catio is to be attached to your house).

For example, a Catio attached to your house, with a floor space of 6 square meters (2m x 3m) equals 22 square meters, in total, of Catio mesh walls and roof, based on a height of 2.3 meters.
